Flight Coat Nostalgia

I remember when flight coats (bomber jackets, whichever name you prefer) were popular 10 years ago. Back in the day, the baggy black jacket with its hideous neon orange inside was a necessity, just like slouch socks. However, unlike slouch socks this is a trend I don’t mind making a comeback. Seeing them everywhere really made me nostalgic, so nostalgic I purchased several (don’t judge me). I also purchased more than one because they are extremely versatile and cute! This isn’t the first time they have made an appearance on my blog and I’m sure it won’t be the last because they literally can be worn with anything.

They can be found everywhere right now but I purchased this gold one from Forever 21 and paired it with a Chambray dress I found on sale, suede boots to keep warm, and stole my brothers flannel shirt (which I am sure he will find out about now). I've noticed that along with bomber jackets, thigh high boots are all the rage so make sure you are subscribed to the blog to see how I took these same boots to create an outfit for a night out.
