Thanksgiving Was a Party & at Least I Was Cute
You ever have a night out and wake up the next morning and realize you spent entirely too much money. That was my Thanksgiving break. The entire time it was a big party; whether I was with family or friends, everyday was a ball. But just like the morning after having too much fun, I spent way too much money. One thing I can say I lucked up on was an incredible black Friday deal at one of my favorite local shoe stores.. I racked up on several pairs of shoes but my favorite are these wine velvet booties I purchased for just $12.
The break was filled with a little bit of everything and started hitting my pockets when I went to see Kountry Wayne with friends, but it was so worth it. He is arguably one of the funniest internet comedians right now. Then Thanksgiving day festivities with my family, eating extremely well, attempting the mannequin challenge, trying to take group photos, the whole nine! It's like a party every time we link up.
Black Friday came. My plan was to save all my coins and buy NOTHING, but I failed. I have a large foot so finding shoes is a hassle. Shoe Time is one of my favorite stores to visit for shoes in my size and the ENTIRE STORE was 50% off! You are crazy if you thought I was gonna pass that up! My mother purchased 3 pairs and I had 3 until I saw these wine booties, which made it four! When I saw them my eyes lit up and I couldn't say no for that price! I found the only size 11 they had (big footed girls know this struggle) and went to the counter.
I sent them to my friend like "Girl, where am I even going to wear these?"
She said, "Who cares? Just get them!
I found the cutest olive green jacket at Forever 21 and thought it would go perfect with these shoes. Working at Hanes, I come across a lot of staples so I paired it with a shimmery Hanes turtleneck and a matching wine skirt from Old Navy. My necklace was purchased from Forever 21 but my earrings are handmade by Earbobz. I thought the shoes were going to be uncomfortable but they aren't. They are so cute, I could wear them every day if someone let me!
