So let me start by saying I am human. I was not having the best day and personally when I am not in the best of moods I like to stay to myself. On top of a plethora of things I was already running late, I pulled up to Brittany Fielder's ginormous smile and she walked me into a night of fun that instantly changed my mood.

I walked in as local radio host, Drankins, was telling jokes and giving away door prizes for who had the best handbag. The venue was gorgeous and filled with lots of beautiful faces. Raat Pac and Everyone Fun LLC put together an amazing event where there were performances from different artist from all over Winston Salem and incorporated a runway show featuring various local clothing brands.

One of the best performances was from a local artist named TreFo Dro. The energy he gave off as he performed "Let Me Flip It" was immediately reciprocated by the crowd. As well as the final artist Curtblak from Raat Pac. People could barely stay in their seats as they performed and it was hard for you to not to enjoy yourself whether you knew the songs or not. After that night I still find myself humming "Let Me Flip It" as I pretend to stir a pot.

Had the pleasure of meeting Courtnie herself

I went upstairs to visit the vendors where I saw Alisha's handmade Kaleidosoaps, face washes, and body scrubs. You could smell them as soon as she opened the jars. I told her about my eczema and issues with my skin and she recommended her black soap. She even threw in a face mask that I cannot wait to try. I was finally able to purchase a pair of the cute Earbobz earring that are always floating down my timeline and got a chance to met the owner Janel Brown in person. The last vendor I met was Rasheedah Bey she showed her skirts and goods from Nigeria. One skirt from Tanzania  I had my eye on but it was the last and not in my size. UGH! But it was great to see the emerging businesses coming out of Winston.

I really enjoyed myself and by the end of the night I had completely forgotten about my terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. It was amazing to see another unique event for local artists. The energy and vibe that you get from just being around your people has the power to change your whole mood and I love that. Everyone else dancing around in positivity, left me with no choice but to have a good time and I did! I loved "Show Up B4 They Blow Up" and cant wait for Everyone Fun and Raat Pac to bring their next event.
